Parasol Craft, Issue 2

Parasol Craft, Issue 2 was just released last week, and this issue’s theme is kawaii! Regular readers will know that I’m a kawaii-o-phile, so this is the issue of my dreams, filled with wonderfully kawaii imagery and creations from so many talented artists and crafters. Above is just a little taste of what the issue contains.

In this issue you’ll also find sweet printable patterned papers, as well as kokeshi doll and cute fruit patterns from Yasmine, Parasol Craft’s multi-talented editor, plus printable mini cards, gift tags, and tutorials for mini pom flowers and a pin pricked envelope by yours truly, a little sneak peek of which I’ve included above. Nikoart Rubber Stamps

Oh, my goodness! Are these rubber stamps from Nikoart some of the cutest that you’ve ever seen, or what? There are black hats and hobo ghosts for Halloween (above), cardinals, snowmen, and Christmas trees with happy faces for Christmas and winter (below, top), awesomely cute woodland animals (below, middle), an Alice in Wonderland set (below,bottom), and so many more cutie patootie stamps that it may be difficult for you to process all of the cuteness coming at you in the Nikoart shop.

Sparklepaw Greeting Cards

I hope that everyone had a great weekend — a nice, long one if you observed Labor Day! And thanks to everyone for the continuing feedback via the reader survey. It seems that several of you are having problems seeing images via your feed readers or in your email subscriptions, and I appreciate you sharing more details with me so I can hopefully get to the bottom of this issue. I’m working on it! And, in the meantime, back to our regularly scheduled paper cravings…

Cuuuuute! Is there really more that you can say about these greeting cards from Sparklepaw? Cutie patootie whales, deer, owls, and even a little cloud that are sure to put a smile on your face. I also love how the illustrations feature patterns and textures that give the designs even more depth. Great stuff! Ooh, I’m loving these super cute letterpress cards from Austin, Texas based Letterpress Delicacies. The combination of adorable animal (and skull) illustrations and sleek, modern pattern is perfect! $9.75 for a set of four.

The Mayberry Sparrow Hand Carved Stamps

I’m completely taken with these super kawaii hand carved stamps from The Mayberry Sparrow. The retro ice cube trailer stamp would work perfectly on a project using the Mr. Campy mini trailer paper, wouldn’t it? And I’m always a sucker for a smiling mushroom and retro kitchen appliances.
