Eco Friendly Paper : Mariella Designs

Eco Friendly Paper
Mariella Designs Note Cards

Mariella Designs carries so many pretty, artistically designed cards that I had a really hard time deciding on my favorites. I’ve featured several here, but you really must see their website to get a feel for the depth of their work.

Not only are the cards lovely, but they’re also eco-friendly, printed on recycled paper with soy based inks. Mariella is working on a shopping cart for their site, which should be up by early June, but you can find their paper goods at Anthropologie, Paper Source, and several online shops. More pretties:

Paper Swap, Presented by The Suburban Penpal and Radiatrix

Paper Swap Sponsored by The Suburban Penpal and Radiatrix

I’m always jazzed when I hear about fun, crafty swaps. The Suburban Penpal and Radiatrix have announced that they’re co-hosting their first paper swap, which has me particularly excited because it’s all about paper!

For more information about the swap itself (guidelines, rules, etc.), and to get sign up and deadline information for this first swap, visit The Suburban Penpal blog. Don’t you just love it when the craft community gets together to spread the love around?

Crankbunny Popup Cards

Crankbunny Peacock Popup Card

Aren’t these popup cards by Crankbunny just absolutely magical? I got a sublime sense of nostalgia when I first looked at everything offered in Crankbunny’s whimsical shop.

All of the cards and creations in the shop are handmade and illustrated by Crankbunny. Just amazing!

Basic Grey Archaic Collection

Basic Grey Archaic Paper

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Basic Grey, who are masters of designing papers that look like something you might find in the deepest recesses of your grandmother’s attic.

I love the aged earthy look of the archaeologically inspired Archaic collection, with its muted color palette and designs ranging from uneven pebble patterns to wavy, earthy strata.

Featured above (clockwise, from top left): Passe, Rock, Prime, Relic, Ancient, and Primal.
