Hello Handmade 2009 Calendar and Print

Hello Handmade was the talk of the blogosphere yesterday, which was the shop’s grand opening, but I still had to post about this collaboration between creatives Shanna Murray and Betsy Dunlap because, my goodness, those illustrations and that awesome calligraphy are giving me palpitations!

The 2009 Dandelion Calendar and Let It Snow print are now available from Hello Handmade Paperie, so wipe the drool off of your keyboards and check them out.

Bellis Monogram Letterpress Notes

Bellis Monogram Letterpress Cards

Bellis Monogram Letterpress Cards

I’m really digging these very upscale Monogram Letterpress Note Cards from Bellis Studios. I love the sophisticated gray and brown color scheme! Just looking at them makes me feel like a grown up, a feeling that (surprise!) I’m actually liking a lot. The set of 6 would make the perfect stocking stuffer, and they’d be a great addition to anyone’s stationery stash.

A Print A Day Downloadable Lace Corner Brush

Print A Day Brush Lace Corners

I know that this isn’t exactly paper, but I loved this downloadable lace corners Photoshop brush from A Print A Day. So many uses for this beautiful brush — you could use the lace corners as part of a homemade holiday card design or invitation, or incorporate them into a Thanksgiving place setting card. This brush would also be perfect for chic digital scrapbooking projects.

If you don’t have Photoshop, Yasmine has kindly included the PNG files so you can upload the brushes yourself, as well. This is a limited download and will only be available until November 9, so be sure to get it while you can!

The Heart of Papercuts Blog

Heart of Papercuts

Oh. My. Wow. It’s pretty well established here that I love papercuts (a.k.a. scherenschnitte), and I’m simply blown away by the work of Elsa Mora, whose work can be seen on her blog, The Heart of Papercuts.

In addition to being a showcase for her gorgeous paper creations, the blog also serves as a treasure of papercutting resources, including links to other artists, organizations, tutorials, shops, supplies. If you enjoy scherenschnitte, then this is the place to go!
