Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to take the first ever Paper Crave reader survey! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the feedback, and it seems like we’re all on the same page because almost all of the suggestions that you made were things that I’ve been considering. I can’t wait to get to work on bringing those to you!

Also, thanks to all of you who gave me information about the feed images issue that seems to be affecting several of you. I will continue to look into what might be causing the problem and will be sure to post updates.

Two Tone Press

The cheeky illustrations on these “Lover Series” letterpress postcards and stickers by Two Tone Press caught my attention — I think that many of them would be a great fit for fun Halloween greetings — and the rest of the Two Tone letterpress lineup kept me looking. I’m digging the feel of their cards, which feature hand drawn, carved linocut prints and interesting color palettes. Here’s a little eye candy:

Webster’s Pages Postcards from Paris Collection

Webster’s Pages is a new to me scrapbook supply company, and I’m loving their new Postcards from Paris collection, which features beautiful patterned papers in soft, romantic colors with images of birdcages, butterflies, flowers, hot air balloons. It seems that I’m seeing hot air balloons everywhere lately! A new trend, perhaps? Here’s a peek from the collection (find the whole lineup here):

Little Otsu Weekly Planner, Volume 4

Little Otsu Weekly Planner

I don’t tend to feature a whole lot of weekly planners here, only because most of them tend to look a lot alike, but this one from Little Otsu really caught my eye. Little Otsu publishes some really cool stuff, and this is the fourth installment in their weekly planner series. They’ve teamed up with Minneapolis based artist, Dan Black, to create a subterranean inspired planner that features several illustrations full of layer and movement, representations of what’s going on under the Earth’s surface.

Of course, the planner features lots of cool weekly-planning type features, too, including fold out reference calendars for 2010 and 2011, list pages, dateless weeks, and extra space for to do lists and appointments. Visually appealing and practical!

Half a Cup of Tea’s Etsy shop holds so many gorgeous little paper treasures, including their signature miniature paper carnations shown above, made with handmade Japanese paper and featuring beautiful watercolor edging.
