Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses Collection

It’s been quite cold around these parts lately. No snow … yet, but it certainly feels like winter. My mind can’t help but wander to snowy days and the holidays when it turns cold and I start to smell that familiar wintry scent in the air. I hope that fall will hang on for a while longer — it is my favorite season, after all — but for today I think it’s time to break out the first holiday themed scrapbook paper collection of the season.

Basic Grey’s Eskimo Kisses collection features seasonal damasks, a really rockin’ wood grain, kawaii characters, and berry toned accents that I’m really digging. Here’s a peek at the collection, and you can purchase the patterned papers, embellishments, stamps, and laser cut cardstock (bottom image) at Scrapbook.com and Two Peas in a Bucket.

2010 Calendar Roundup, Part 1

Alright, everyone, I can hold back no longer. I cannot get over how many awesome 2010 calendars are out there, and at this rate the roundup is going to be half a dozen parts. But this is great, because it means more options and eye candy for everyone! I have to pace myself, though, so today I’ll just be posting part one.

What I love about so many of these calendars is that they can easily be turned into framed art after the year is over. This is what I’m planning on doing with my favorite 2009 calendar images, and pretty soon I’ll probably have a wall full of art that was formerly a calendar. Bonus!

Now, without further ado, here’s part one of my 2010 calendar roundup:

The always anticipated Ilee letterpress and silkscreen calendar:

Stationery Place Interview

Stationery Place Interview

I was so jazzed when fellow paper lover and paper blogger, Lyndsey, of The Stationery Place asked me to take part in her “Meet the Stationeria” interview series. You can read my interview here to find out a little more about my obsession with paper, and you can catch up on all of the past interviews in the series here. Thanks so much for the opportunity, Lyndsey!

Dutch Door State Bird Letterpress Prints

I always enjoy seeing thematic collections created by artists and designers, and these limited edition state bird letterpress prints by Dutch Door Press are so very pretty. I love the use of color and how the state flowers are used both as design elements and as perches for the birds. Right now, it looks as if there are just five states available — Illinois, California, Texas, Connecticut, and Massachusetts — but hopefully we’ll be seeing more soon. – via designvagabond
