The Lost & Found Dept.

I’m really digging the style of The Lost & Found Dept., the design and printmaking studio of graphic designer/illustrator Jamie Patrick Paul, whose art prints feature subjects like mini Abraham Lincoln (love!), ornate cigar bands, and vintage typewriters. Prints are created using a variety of techniques — flat printing, letterpress printing, and screen printing — and the illustrations have that oh so cool mid-century vibe. Weekly Wrap #43 : Avie Designs Wrapping Paper

I am in full swoon over the new collection of patterned wrapping papers from Avie Designs! I always get a little giddy when I see gift wrap from independent shops because #1) not many shops have gift wrap in their lineup, and #2) the designs usually kick the butt of what can be found in the mass market. These gift wrap sheets from Avie are so very pretty — the bright colors and modern patterns rock, and I love that the patterns coordinate with each other, as shown in the beautifully wrapped examples above. Inspiring!

The collection includes five designs: Baroque, Sherbert Stripes, Mod Woven, Gray Gate, and Blue Tile.
