Embroidered Cards by Koto Designs

It was love at first sight when I spotted these gorgeous, embroidered holiday cards by Koto Designs. The unique cards feature modern, geometric holiday icons – snowflakes, stars, Christmas trees – embroidered with metallic thread on both white and kraft stock, and the cards would also look great framed as wall art.

Koto also offers some fantastic non-holiday embroidered cards, as well as larger scale designs and embroidered notebooks.

Minty teal and silver are a fantastic color pair no matter what time of the year it is, but this cool combo is simply perfect for the holidays, when the frosty hues compliment snowy landscapes and frosted window panes and add a festive shimmer to all of the pretty packages beneath the Christmas tree.

Holiday cards, gift tags, calendars, packaging – kraft paper is popping up everywhere, and for good reason. The versatility of kraft is just about unrivaled in the realm of paper goods and stationery, and because it pairs so well with classic holiday colors, it’s no surprise to see stationers incorporating the adaptable stock in their holiday collections this season.

We’ve already seen some wonderful, kraft-y goods in the Brown Paper and Sugar Paper holiday collections, and today I’ve put together a group of kraft-based lovelies that exemplify the versatility of the “kraft look”.
