Wood Veneer Postcards by Formes Berlin

My eyes just about bugged out of my head when I spotted these amazing wood veneer postcards by Formes Berlin over on Etsy recently. The unique postcards are made from special, high-quality wood veneer that is laser cut with designs that can be folded and/or punched out to create wonderful, three dimensional objects.

You’ll find everything from flower gardens (above) to owls, trees, and rabbits on these super cool postcards, and the cards themselves can be written on with pen, pencil, or marker, just like regular paper. How awesome would it be to receive one of these in the mail?!

I’m getting ready to wrap things up for the year, and I hope that all of you are gearing up for a nice, relaxing holiday break, too. Before I sign off, I just want to say how much I appreciate that you take time the time to pop onto Paper Crave. Thank you for your emails, comments, tweets, likes, links, and whatever other web type things you do to share the paper love. I can’t tell you how much it means to me.

Safe travels to all of you who are hopping into a plane, train, or automobile to get to your holiday destinations, and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I’ll see you back here in January with oodles of crave-worthy paper goods … that is, if the whole Mayan apocalypse thing doesn’t happen. If it does, then you’re probably not even reading this because we’ve all spontaneously combusted already. But I hope that you are reading this because I really don’t want any of us to spontaneously combust or get melted by volcanoes or whatever is supposed to happen.
