Carolina Della Valle of Brooklyn, NY based Modern Press is offering private letterpress printing instructions, which will result in the development of your own project … stationery, invitations, anything.
Modern Press is a design studio and printshop that specializes in letterpress printing /laser-cutting of high end invitations and stationery products.
Carolina is offering a very unique opportunity for anyone interested in learning the craft of letterpress and being fully involved in the actual creation of your own project. Just come in with your ideas and together you and Carolina will make it happen!
The private lessons will include one on one instruction using the following equipment:
Heidelberg Windmill printing press or a 219 Vandercook hand operated cylinder press
Universal laser cutter is also available for use for any laser cut project you may have
Private sessions start at $300 for a 5 hour day together. All material costs are additional. Fees may vary depending on the complexity of the project. Platemaking for custom projects take a few days to get back so additional days may be required to complete, or you may break up your day, if you wish.
