Letterpress Prints from Pistachio Press + Mummysam

I love to see creative collaborations, and I was excited to hear from Rachael of Pistachio Press about her recent collaboration with English illustrator, Samantha Cotterill (aka mummysam). The result is two super cool letterpress art prints, Portraits and Time to Go for Tea, and you can purchase them at both mummysam’s and Pistachio Press’ shops. The prints are a limited edition of just 100 each, so be sure to check them out before they’re gone!

Shaz Madani

Shaz Madani

I recently spotted the work of designer Shaz Madani over at Share Some Candy, and it was love at first sight. I’m completely enamored with the campaign that Shaz put together for Arctic Paper, which features multi-layered paper cuts with a fantastic textural feel. The rest of Shaz’s portfolio is awesome, too. You can check it out here, and below are more images from the Arctic Paper campaign:

The ABCs of Branding

ABC Branding Poster

I’m a huge fan of the “ABC” posters and prints that have been so popular over the last year or so, and this one from The Best Part is one of the most clever and cool ones that I’ve seen. Using no ink whatsoever, the posters are a foil stamped and embossed A to Z of some of the most famous logos of all time, including Ford, Kellogg’s, Xerox, and lots more logo lover eye candy. Posters are available in two colorways: silver foil on black and gold foil on cream. – found via Paper Tastebuds

New Zealand Book Council : Going West

The New Zealand Book Council has released an absolutely amazing video, produced by Colenso BBDO and animated by London based Andersen M Studios, which uses paper craft animation to promote books and reading. The animation features paper cut imagery using Maurice Gee’s novel Going West, and eight months of intricate paper cutting work went into creating the final two minute video. Amazing, amazing work! Many thanks to Kelly for letting me know about this wonderful work of art.
