If you love gorgeous, painterly illustrations (and who doesn’t, right?!), then you’ll soon find yourself utterly smitten with the beautiful art prints from Lyra Press.

Crystal and Jorge, the talented duo behind Lyra Press, both have a background in architecture / design, but after after a few years of working at corporate design firms they decided to venture out on their own and open an illustration studio. They paint every element of each print by hand, then lay out the final design digitally, and they love the idea of creating prints that are both beautiful and informative. I’m sure that more than a few of us (myself included) are fans of art prints that look fantastic and educate us at the same time!

After the unseasonably warm weather that we experienced around these parts last week, I am completely ready for warmer weather to be here on a more permanent basis. Anthropomorphic Animal Prints from Ryan Berkley Illustration

If you’re a fan of anthropomorphic animals (and, really, who isn’t?), then you’ve gotta run (or whatever the internet version of “run” is) right on over to Ryan Berkley Illustration and check out his magnificent menagerie of illustrated animal portraits, which feature everyone from a dapper cedar waxwing to a punk rock cat to a prim and proper parakeet. I love that each of the animals in the collection has his or her own story, which further brings each illustration to life.
