These screen printed star charts by Brainstorm are so, so great. The two color, 18″ x 24″ prints show the major constellations in the skies of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, and they’re the perfect gift for astronomy buffs with an eye for good design. You know I’m loving the navy and teal color palette, too. – found via French Paper

P. S. Do you have a favorite constellation? I’ve always been partial to Orion and Cassiopeia.

Hollandsworth Paper Dolls

Cranky Princess Art Prints by Heather Ross

I had a good giggle as soon as I spotted Heather Ross’ Cranky Princess art prints over on Creature Comforts recently. Though I’m sure that only made Miss Princess more cranky, I just couldn’t help myself. The princess may be grumpy, but she’s also quite endearing. And I can totally understand why she’s cranky. Wouldn’t you be a little grouchy if a you were stuck in a tower and your beautiful, long hair was being defiled by a bird? I know I would be.

Suns by The Paper Nut

What better way to start the week than with an awesome new print from The Paper Squirrel? Everything about this Suns mid-century inspired art print is happy and cheery, from the sweet, smiling suns to the absolutely fantastic color palette. The wonderful illustrated print is archival quality giclee, but the intentionally off register details actually make it look like a screen print. Sweet!

Marcelo Kato’s papercut and paper sculpture work takes my breath away. The Brazil-based paper artist has been honing his craft since age three, when he first picked up a pair of scissors, and his incredible portfolio of paper creations speaks to the love that he has for the medium. I can’t get over how amazingly detailed his work is. Look at all of the tiny little paper bricks below (oh. my. goodness.):
