I am digging the cutie patootie paper goodies from Melbourne, Australia-based Honey Cup, whose sweet illustrations of little deer, kitty, bear, and bunny girls and boys can be found on cards and art prints that would make such fun gifts and/or add a bit of whimsy to nursery or office walls. It may be a bad idea to shop for food on an empty stomach, but it’s most certainly a great idea to look for paper goods on an empty stomach because you can end up discovering some pretty tasty stationery. This clever postcard by Chicago-based illustrator and screenprinter, Jillian Nickell, features literal interpretations of nine different types of cake, including devil’s food, Texas sheet, and my personal favorite, Black Forest (love the woodgrain and the little branch/leaf detail!).

I’m such a big fan of the work of Kate Hindley and am completely stoked to see that she has a shop over at Society6. My biggest problem is going to be deciding which of her art prints to pick up for myself because I want them all.
