Paper Ink Press Discount + Giveaway

Affordable Letterpress Birth Announcements

I’m super jazzed to share this new line of letterpress birth announcements by Paper Ink Press with you today. And keep reading for info about a fantastic discount and giveaway for Paper Crave readers!

Sweet Simple Birth Announcements

As a new mother, Melissa from Paper Ink Press (you can also find her over at her blog, The Handwork Chronicles) understands that the business of having babies is expensive enough, and she wanted to give all of the letterpress-loving parents out there an option for letterpress announcements that won’t put a major dent in the kiddo’s college fund. And so was born (pun kind of intended) this sweet and simple line of custom letterpress birth announcements.

Affordable Birth Announcements

The collection includes six different single color designs in A2 size, and because these choices make the announcements more affordable to print, Melissa is able to pass the savings along. Announcements or announcements + coordinating stationery are available in sets of 50, 75, and 100, and numerous options for customization are available.

Discount: Melissa is offering Paper Crave readers a 10% discount on birth announcements and announcement + stationery combos. Enter “papercravebaby” at checkout to receive your discount. This offer will run through September 30, 2011.

Giveaway: In addition to the great discount offer, Melissa is going to be giving away a set of 50 birth announcements + coordinating stationery and return address envelope printing to one lucky Paper Crave reader! To enter, simply comment on this post and let us know which of the birth announcement designs is your favorite.

The winner can keep the prize or gift it to a friend, and you’ll have up to one year to have your custom announcements printed. International entries are welcome, too! One entry per person, please. The giveaway will run through midnight eastern on June 28, 2011, and I’ll announce the winner the following day.

Antique Wood Type and Ornament

Check out these incredible letterpress “Home Sweet Home” cards by Typoretum! The four color cards were printed using antique wood letters and ornament, cleverly arranged to create a lovely little typographic house with smoke coming from its chimney. These cards would be wonderful for sending notes of congratulations to friends and family who have just moved into a new place or finished a big remodeling project.

Eyelet Caps Monogram Note Cards

Eyelet Monogram Letterpress Note Cards

I am so digging these Eyelet Caps Note Cards from In Haus Press. The letterpress monogram notes (available in sets of 5) feature gorgeous embellished letters, printed from hand-carved wooden type in bold, black ink. Use the notes as gift tags, or keep them on hand to write little notes and thank yous.

I’d love to see a set of these little notes pop up in my Christmas stocking. Yeah, I know it’s a little early to be talking winter holidays, but it’s never too early to start making notes about good gift ideas!
