Banshee Press’ “House Rules” letterpress card series showcases the mischievous side of classic playing card characters and, whoa, I wouldn’t want to meet these guys, gal, or dog in a dark alley! The fantastic, illustrated cards would be great to send to a card playing friend with an edgy sense of humor, and I think they’d also look awesome framed and hung on the wall of a game room or a man cave. Treehouse Letterpress Cards & Notebooks

Treehouse Letterpress Card | Constellation & Co.

As much as I love all things paper and stationery, I still find it a little tough to get back into the swing of things after the holiday break, and it’s a wonderful thing when just the right email shows up in my inbox to give me the motivation that I need to start posting about pretty paper again.

This year, that email actually showed up a bit before Christmas, but I knew that I wanted to share its contents with you as soon as I got back to posting in January, and I think you’ll agree that these paper goodies add a little magic and dreams of the warm months to come to cold, winter days. Get ready for some treehouse love!

Treehouse Letterpress Card | Constellation & Co.

Seattle-based Constellation & Co. recently finished a brand new series of paper goods in collaboration with their Washington State neighbors, Treehouse Point, and the new series of treehouse-themed letterpress gifts features each of Treehouse Point’s six gorgeous treehouses. The collection includes a boxed set of six notecards, single cards, and sketchbooks (blank) or notebooks (lined). These magical letterpress goodies offer a wonderful way to escape for a moment into the “treehouse state of mind”.

Check out the whole series in Constellation & Co.’s Etsy shop or in person at Treehouse Point, where you can stay the night in a beautiful treehouse and then take home a hand printed memento of your getaway.

Henry’s Letterpress Ticket Birth Announcements

Letterpress Ticket Birth Announcements | Maida Vale

What could be sweeter than a newborn little one slumbering on a guitar? Not much, I’m sure! These adorable letterpress birth announcements by Heather from Maida Vale for her son, Henry, are a wonderful combination of photography, letterpress, and musical inspiration.

Heather shares:

Before Henry’s birth, my husband, Shawn, and I developed the concept behind his announcement. Shawn is a musician, so using this as the inspiration, I designed a “ticket” wrap to announce Henry’s debut. After Henry was born, Seattle photographer, Carolyn Kipper, orchestrated the photo of him perched on Shawn’s guitar. I then printed the wraps on my press and outsourced double-sided photo cards. Finally, we tied the whole bundle together with a guitar pick and baker’s twine.
