Holiday Card Picks : Hip – Hip

It’s that time of the year again, time for me to share gobs of merry and bright holiday cards and related paper-y goodness with you. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty excited about it!

My first holiday card picks of the season come from a new shop called Hip-Hip. Allison Black, the talented illustrator and designer behind Hip-Hip, is one half of the duo from the awesome stationery shop, Hooray Today. Sadly, Hooray Today closed up shop when Allison and her co-founder, Alyssa Nassner, moved across the country from each other. But Allison couldn’t stay away from the world of stationery and decided to strike out on her own. As a result, Hip-Hip was born, and the shop already has oodles of quirky and colorful, illustrated cards, tags, and more within its virtual aisles.

The Hip-Hip holiday collection is so much fun! You’ll find mermaid santas and cats that would give Ebenezer Scrooge a run for his money, as well as a merrily striped tiger and penguins on holiday, among the quirky characters embellishing the holiday cards. And the jumbo gift tag sets, well, they’re just awesome. In addition, you can pick up bundles that include a selection of both cards and gift tags and give you great bang for your buck.

Here are just some of my favorites from the Hip-Hip holiday collection, and be sure to head over to the shop to see all of the available designs.

Greeting Cards For Autumn & Thanksgiving

So, Halloween is over, which bums me out. But the good news is that there are still a few weeks left to do all of the apple cider drinking and leaf peeping that I want, so I can’t be too bummed. This greeting card roundup was inspired by the time that’s left in my most favorite of seasons, and we can’t forget that Thanksgiving, at least here in the U.S., is still to come. So, I added a few fabulous and festive Thanksgiving greetings, too. Here’s to the awesomeness that is autumn!
