Eco Friendly Paper : Sweetbeets

Eco Friendly Paper
Sweetbeets Letterpress Card

These letterpress cards from Ontario, Canada based Sweetbeets are super sweet and really get the nostalgia going. Give them as greetings at baby showers or children’s birthdays, or frame a series (the “numbers” cards would be perfect) as decorative accessories in a nursery or child’s room.

All of Sweetbeets’ lettepress cards are printed with vegetable based ink on 100% post consumer recycled cardstock and come with an envelope made of 30% post consumer recycled paper. $5.50 each at Sweetbeets’ Etsy shop.

Eco Friendly Paper : Mariella Designs

Eco Friendly Paper
Mariella Designs Note Cards

Mariella Designs carries so many pretty, artistically designed cards that I had a really hard time deciding on my favorites. I’ve featured several here, but you really must see their website to get a feel for the depth of their work.

Not only are the cards lovely, but they’re also eco-friendly, printed on recycled paper with soy based inks. Mariella is working on a shopping cart for their site, which should be up by early June, but you can find their paper goods at Anthropologie, Paper Source, and several online shops. More pretties:

Zeichen Press CD / DVD Sleeves

Zeichen Press Recycled Chipboard CD Sleeves

I’m really getting a kick out of Zeichen Press’ collection. The cheeky humor found on their letterpressed cards and more makes me giggle, and the bold, colorful retro graphics and typography truly engage the designer in me.

Zeichen’s cd/dvd sleeves (above), letterpress printed onto recycled chipboard, are awesome! I just love the way that bright colors are used against the brown backdrop. Who wouldn’t love to receive a mix cd in one of these babies? $5.00 each at Zeichen Press’ online shop. Scroll down about 3/4 of the way to see the cd/dvd sleeve collection.
