Wee Wonderfuls Postcards

I’m loving these new notecards from Wee Wonderfuls. I’m a huge fan of Hillary’s blog, and I always enjoy seeing her latest crafty creations. Luckily, this one happens to be paper, so I can talk about it here!

The notecards feature her signature handmade dolls (adorable!) at the quilting bee and the knitting club. Buy a set for yourself, and/or give a set to a crafty friend. $12 for a set of 8 notecards and envelopes, 4 of each design.

Typoretum UK Letterpress Cards

UK based letterpress shop, Typoretum, just launched an outstanding line of hand-printed, limited edition cards created using antique wooden and metal letterpress type, decorative borders, and printers’ fleurons. I’m loving their use of the antique type to create modern cards, and I’m drooling over the pictures of antique type that compliment the images of their card line at their website.

Typoretum’s cards are printed using vegetable-based inks, and the paper used is 100% cotton fiber, a by-product of the clothing industry. You can purchase cards on Typoretum’s website.

Check out these oh so pretty letterpress cards and stationery from Minneapolis, Minnesota based letterpress studio, Armato Design & Press. Armato’s designs are a lovely blend of modern and classic, and I’m digging their personalized stationery (shown above, top), as well as the letterpress Bee Hive cards (above, middle) and the cute and clever CD wedding favors (above, bottom).

Armato Design offers a line of letterpress cards and stationery on Etsy, and you can also check out their full portfolio and custom work here.

Otis & Bean Letterpress Cards

Check out these wonderful letterpress cards from Otis & Bean. I’m digging the modern patterns, and the rich berry palette featured in many of the designs reminds me of the huge dark/berry trend that’s happening this autumn in cosmetics; i.e., MAC’s Cult of Cherry collection. Do I sense a future color trend in stationery? I hope so, because I love berry, plum, eggplant, and thistle shades! Check out Otis & Bean’s line at their Etsy shop for more letterpress lovelies.

I got so excited about the cards and colors that I almost forgot to mention that Otis & Bean’s letterpress cards are eco-friendly, printed on 30% recycled paper manufactured using windpower, and inks used are vegetable and soy based. The envelopes are also made from paper that contains 30% post-consumer waste.
