DIY Scrap Paper Light

Would you believe that this amazing artichoke-like light is made from scrap paper, a rice paper lantern, and glue? I know – pretty awesome, right? Graphic designer, Gabrielle Guy, created this stunning light for a friend using an old leftover lantern and a bunch of scrap paper that she had on hand. The project cost next to nothing, but the result is something that looks like a million bucks! Check out more details about the project, including “in progress” shots, over at Design*Sponge, and I’ll stay here and ponder all of the ideas that this fantastic project is giving me.

Paper Cut Letter Cards

Lovely Laser Cut Bunting

Suzi from The Hummingbird Card Company let me have a peek at their lovely new line of laser cut bunting, and I know that all of you bunting enthusiasts out there will be keen on the new paper pretties, which would be a wonderful decoration choice for summer weddings, garden parties, or birthday parties. I think that they’d look so pretty in a little girl’s room, too!
