I knew there was a reason why I didn’t want to promise that part four of my letterpress holiday card roundup would be the final one. Since then, more talented designers and printers have sent along their holiday letterpress lovelies, and I’ve come across a few more during my holiday paper hunts. This is it, the final roundup!

A Letterpress Christmas 2010 : Starshaped Press

This year’s lineup of new letterpress holiday cards from Starshaped Press is, simply put, beautiful. Available greetings include gatefold-style, Art Deco-inspired cards, created from Starshaped’s vast collection of 20s and 30s era typefaces and ornaments, which were used to hand-build both the type areas and imagery for the cards.

Letterpress cards from the Ornamental Holiday Collection feature intricate pattern and imagery, also created by hand with ornaments from Starshaped’s studio. Amazing stuff!

The intricate pattern and bold typography in Starshaped’s new letterpress holiday photo cards are absolutely swoonworthy, a perfect compliment to your favorite family photo. These beautiful cards can also be personalized for an additional fee.

The fantastic holiday letterpress cards keep coming! Today, I’ll be sharing my last two “A Letterpress Christmas” roundups, though I won’t deny that there may be a fifth roundup if I come across additional letterpress lovelies. What can I say? It’s very tough for me to stop when it’s holiday card time.

I also have at least one more non-letterpress holiday card roundup and a couple of additional “A Letterpress Christmas” shop features before I wrap up my holiday card features for the season. A Letterpress Christmas 2010 : Wild Ink Press

Holy beautiful letterpress, Batman! Wild Ink Press has me swooning endlessly over their new collection of holiday cards, including this stunning trio of snowflake cards featuring broad letterpress printed areas of saturated color and crisp snowflake patterns in relief. An unexpected technique and a fantastic result – wish I could reach through the screen and run my fingers over these lovelies!

And I’m also loving the clever cards in the Connect the Dots collection, which features letterpress greetings embellished with nostalgia-inducing dot-to-dot themed illustrations and lyrics for favorite holiday songs. So much fun!
