There’s just something about these cards by Benjamin Lacombe. I’m drawn to the whimsical illustrations and touched by the tinge of sadness that the images evoke. Available from la marelle en papier.

I love the handmade feel and cute woodland illustrations on these sticky notes by U.K. based design team, Sukie. I’m sure that your fridge and computer screen with appreciate having these cheery notes stuck to them, and you’ll smile instead of groan when you check out what you have to do for the day.
Order Sukie products from Sukie or Chronicle Books.

If you’re a sucker for vintage illustrations, bunni goods definitely has something for you. Their storybook notecards are fashioned from images featured in gently used children’s books and feature everything from bunnies and bears to snowmen running from something…perhaps a blowtorch? Kitschy-licious!
As I was browsing the bunni goods site, I couldn’t help but notice something a little unsettling about their Curious Dream card…
That’s totally Fergie! And, yes, I’m completely ashamed that I noticed this.
Fergilicious?

Pop up cards are one of those things that still elicits a childlike response within me. So, naturally, I was filled with wonder and delight when I saw these beautiful 3-D pop up cards from Singapore based design group Gagatree’s Winter Garden collection.
The pop ups are not only appealing in form, but they also feature colorful Asian-inspired graphic elements, such as bunnies, cats, and butterflies. In addition to making a wonderful greeting card (thankfully, each card comes with instructions for spatially challenged people such as myself), the pop ups would also be the perfect gift wrap embellishment, gift ornament, or decoration.
Available for purchase in the US from Shopmodi.

I’m flying home to the ‘burgh for my sister’s wedding this weekend and will be gone for a week or so. While I’m gone, I do have several posts scheduled, so no worries about feeding the paper cravings. However, I will not be checking my email for the next week. See you back here on June 4!
In the meantime, check out more reports from the National Stationery Show at design*sponge and also freshly{blended}.
Psst…Nicole from freshly{blended} recently launched freshlyblendedpress.com and has made her beautiful jotters and journals available for sale. A must see!

Design*Sponge has posted the first in her series of reports on the 2007 National Stationery Show, and I’m agiggle at the wonderful offerings on display. Check out the debut of the Nantaka Joy line…absolutely stunning use of metallics and blind embossing. I’m also loving the woodgrain coasters from Rock Scissor Paper, the button series (excerpt pictured above) and wood veneer cards from Night Owl Paper Goods — absolutely inspiring!
The next installment of what I’m sure will be fabulous creations will be posted on Thursday at Design*Sponge, so be on the lookout. I know, like you’re not already, right?

I’m all about having choices when it’s time to wrap a gift — give me a rainbow colored mountain of ribbon, stacks of different gift wrap, and a variety of gift tags and I’m in my glory.
This reversible gift wrap from Roger La Borde caught my eye immediately with its stylized floral patterns and bold color schemes. Need to make a big statement? Use the yellow florals against a hot pink background. Need something more subdued for a bridal shower gift? Flip it over and go with the chartreuse florals on yellow. Ah, reversible gift wrap is a magical thing! $3.00 per sheet at Kate’s Paperie.
