I’ve talked about my love for the embosser before, so I won’t repeat myself here. Suffice it to say that I just found these neato motif plates for embossers at Paper Source and am thinking about the thousands of things that I could emboss with these babies! They also offer message plates, perfect for weddings and other special occasions.

As many of you know, the future of Gocco (the awesome Japanese screenprinting system) has been in doubt since 2005. However, I surfed onto the Save Gocco site the other day and saw a message from mid-January which stated that they’ve “received uncofirmed news that a U.S. retail chain will be restocking gocco products on a regular basis by early summer.” This may be old news to some of you, but when I read the message I was completely jazzed!
I don’t know how many times that I’ve just wanted to kick myself for not picking up my own Gocco when they were still being manufactured, and I’d snap one up in a jiffy if they were being carried in a retail store again. Of course, I’ll probably end up trying my luck on eBay even if this news turns out not to be true.
C’mon Gocco!

I’m loving these individually hand screenprinted (Gocco) gift cards from Linea Carta. The illustrations are gorgeous and have such depth, and the colors are fab! I also love how each illustration has a figure number, which brings to my mind vintage botanical or anatomical illustration books. Each design is $6.00 at Linea Carta’s Etsy shop.

This wonderful set of “organic” rubber stamps from Paper Candy really gets my imagination going. The stylized natural images, including a pomegranate and a dandelion, could be the building blocks for countless paper craft projects, — custom stationery, wrapping paper, gift tags, etc. The set is $11.99 at Paper Candy.

It’s been quite gloomy and cold around here lately, so I’ve been in dire need of some pick-me-ups that will remind me that spring is just around the corner. I’m really enjoying these spring-ish papers from Australian designer Cristina Re. Love the bright reds, pinks, and greens! Unfortunately, Cristina doesn’t seem to sell any products directly on her site, but a Google search produces many results for shops carrying her line in Australia and New Zealand.

Whimsy Press has a gorgeous new gift wrap collection called Love & Marriage. I can’t get enough of their gift wrap and inspiring gift wrap “in action” pictures, and I just adore the “Love is Lovely” gift wrap pictured above. Such a beautiful color scheme, with the buttery yellow and pale blue. If only gift wrap this awesome were around when I was in school, I totally would’ve used it for my book covers, though I don’t know that any of my books would’ve been worthy! Well, maybe the Calculus book.
