Wow, would I ever feel special if I received this gift from Patricia Paskovich, aka papermore. I seem to be on a red, white, and blue kick lately (have you checked out my red, white, and blue collection at the Felt & Wire shop see, this is obviously turning into an obsession), and the tissue paper rosettes and hand painted watercolor gingham tag (love this!) are so incredibly sweet.
To make the tissue paper rosettes, take a strip of tissue paper about 15 inches long by 1/2 inch wide, fold in half lengthwise, and roll/coil unevenly to create a rosette. Add a dab of glue to the end to secure, and voila, a tissue paper rosette! Group them together as in Patricia’s package for a great alternative to a bow.
