How to Make a Mother’s Day Message Box

Amy of Living Locurto, a blog featuring many awesome art freebies, and Cathe of Just Something I Made, another fantastic blog filled with great craft ideas and freebies, have collaborated to create this wonderful printable Mother’s Day message box. The box is just the right fit for business card sized notes, and it’s available for download in a manilla design and a decorative floral design, which uses free vintage wallpaper graphics from another great freebie source, The Graphics Fairy. Fill your box with notes telling mom what you love about her, or repurpose the box as a business card holder or cool little gift box. What a great example of collaboration!

Printable Mother’s Day Cards

If you’re still in need of a Mother’s Day card, then you’re in luck because there are some lovely free printable options from generous bloggers, Ambrosia Girl and Poppytalk. Ambrosia Girl’s card, which I spotted via Twitter the other day but wanted to share here, as well, is beautifully handlettered and especially for Dads to give to their wives on the special day:

And Poppytalk’s printable card — love the distressed font and lace accent —

is a more general sentiment that can be given to mom:

I’ve featured selections from Ceci New York’s beautiful, custom designed couture wedding invitation portfolio, but I just discovered that they also have a White Label Collection. The ready to order collection is designed for those who “desire exceptional quality, instant gratification, and faster turn around times,” and designs from the exclusive collection are based on some of Ceci New York’s most popular styles.

The collection is available in both letterpress and offset printing, and it’s separated into four different thematic styles: Ornate, Destination, Botanical, and Classic. The White Label Collection also includes three save the date collections: New York Series (a must see), Vintage Postcards, and Save the Dates, available exclusively through Ceci New York.
