Athena Dreams Greeting Cards

Liz Kalloch, a San Francisco based artist and designer, recently launched a line of greeting cards at her Etsy shop, Athena Dreams. The combination of Liz’s bold and colorful graphics, featuring layers of texture coupled with symbols and icons around the world, along with messages like, “those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves,” and, “optimism is the the faith that leads to achievement,” are so uplifting. Jinjerup Printable Chick Chic Bookmarks

Don’t you just love it when you get up on a Monday morning, log onto the interwebs, and immediately find not one, but two new to you websites that are full of fun and inspiration? Well, that’s what happened to me this morning, and it certainly started the day on a great note!

Jinjerup is one of the most kawaii sites that I’ve seen, and it’s filled with wonderful printable freebies, including these adorable Chick Chic Bookmarks. Eep, I also just spotted too cute for words fruit bookmarks, too! Jinjerup is a must see for those of you who love cute.

And I must also give a mention to Each Penny Pretty, an inspiration, diy, and freebie-filled blog run by Julie of the fab paper goods and printables shop, Up Up Creative, where I first spotted these adorable bookmarks. Thanks for helping to make my Monday morning a fun one, Julie!

We finally have some sunshine around these parts, which reminds me that it’s summer. I really do need a reminder, given the weather that we’ve had lately. I spotted the perfect summer-y DIY over at Once Wed last week, and since I’m finally feeling the warmer weather and sunshine, I had to share it here.

Eco Friendly Paper : Oh So Good

I’m digging this line of “rescued paper” notebooks and gift tags by Toronto based stationery shop, Oh So Good. Not only are the notebook covers made from recycled materials — including the snazzy faux bois vinyl covers shown below — but all of the notebook pages are recycled paper, including a variety of grid, lined, colored, and outdated day planner sheets, all in one notebook. Now that’s what I call recycling!
