Cosmo Cricket Togetherness Collection

Last Friday, I mentioned my excitement over the new paper / scrapbook collections from Cosmo Cricket, especially the super cute Matilda for Halloween. But I saved my favorite, Togetherness, for today so I could showcase the individual patterned papers in the collection.

The patterns are sweet and understated, and I can’t seem to resist most scrapbooking collections that have a ruled paper design somewhere in them. Kite strings, plaid, and lovely little birdies in muted red, teal, and yellow — have a look:

City Set Prints by Bandito Design Co.

Squee! I’m a total medievalphile (is this even a word?), so it was love at first sight when I spotted this medieval cityscape print set by Bandito Design Co. I don’t think that I can resist picking up a set for myself. I mean, the prints feature turrets AND woodgrain patterns!

Each printed is screened in white, fire red, and brown on Poptone Berrylicious French Paper, and the set is just $12. – via French Paper

I’m also really digging The Birds & The Bees prints, screened in the same ink colors on Poptone Berrylicious. Such clever visuals — I love the woodpecker record “needle” on the record player and the honeycomb speakers on the boombox.

Weekly Wrap #37 : Tissue Paper Roses

Wow, would I ever feel special if I received this gift from Patricia Paskovich, aka papermore. I seem to be on a red, white, and blue kick lately (have you checked out my red, white, and blue collection at the Felt & Wire shop — see, this is obviously turning into an obsession), and the tissue paper rosettes and hand painted watercolor gingham tag (love this!) are so incredibly sweet.

To make the tissue paper rosettes, take a strip of tissue paper about 15 inches long by 1/2 inch wide, fold in half lengthwise, and roll/coil unevenly to create a rosette. Add a dab of glue to the end to secure, and voila, a tissue paper rosette! Group them together as in Patricia’s package for a great alternative to a bow.
