A new issue of Nonpareil is here, and it’s a great onel! Issue 5, A Spectrum of Inspiration, features hue-themed spreads in colors like sunshine yellow, lovely plum, and beautiful blue, and there are so many great projects and ideas to inspire. And, if you’re looking for wonderful paper eye candy, then this issue is a must see.

In other magazine news, we welcomed a new editor, Jessica Bishop of The Budget Savvy Bride, who has been wonderful to work with on the project. Jessica and Maddy make a great team, and I wish them well and look forward to seeing what fantastic things they have in store for Nonpareil as I move on from the project after the next issue.

Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland Collection

More patterned paper goodies for Halloween arts and crafts, this time from a new to me scrapbooking company called Graphic 45, who have combined Halloween and Alice in Wonderland to create a wonderfully unexpected scrapbooking collection called Hallowe’en in Wonderland. The collection has a little steampunk here, a little Victorian there, and various patterned papers include John Tenniel’s fantastic Alice in Wonderland illustrations and elements from old advertisements for a look that’s engaging, clever, and something a little different for Halloween.

Paper People by Colt Bowden

I am completely and utterly enchanted by Colt Bowden‘s handmade paper people. They’re so wonderfully whimsical, and the sewn paper details are amazing. I love how each paper person has his or her own unique personality. The paper people would make great framed art, and Colt says that he’s also used them for cake toppers and as couples’ gifts.

Because each paper person is unique, there is no set price for all of them, but they generally range in price from $15-30 each. You can contact Colt via email or phone for more info. He and his wife are also the team behind Voilà Letterpress —check out their Paper People letterpress print!

I sent out my second ever Paper Goodies newsletter this morning, and one of the sections that I include in the email is sales & discounts for the month surrounding the newsletter send date.
