This week’s wrap comes from Playing with Books, which I reviewed earlier this week, and it’s such a fun and versatile idea for wrapping gifts using book pages or sheet music as your wrapping paper. Thoughtfully match the wrap with the giftee by using notated sheet music for a musician, pages from children’s books for teachers and kids, or pages from books that hold special meaning for the recipient. Embellish the gift further by using patterned wrapping paper or magazine pages to make flowers, belly bands, and other accents, and finish the look with anything from twine to ribbon.
I am having a fantastic time reading through all of your entries in the Playing with Books giveaway. You all are blowing me away with the paper projects that you have made or plan to make! Entries are being taken through next Tuesday, so if you haven’t yet entered for a chance to win, there’s still plenty of time to head on over and enter to win.
Stay tuned next week for another great giveaway. Exciting! Hint: if you or someone you know is having a baby, you’ll definitely want to tune in next week to see what it is.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
