Rocket Age by October Afternoon

October Afternoon’s Rocket Age scrapbooking collection has me wanting to break out a telescope and gaze at the stars all night long. Unfortunately, I don’t own a telescope, and I’m in a heavily populated urban area, so I probably couldn’t see too many stars even if I had a telescope. No biggie. I’ll just gaze at these super cool, retro-inspired patterned papers and imagine what it must’ve been like to grow up during an era when space travel was new and the moonlanding was making headlines in every newspaper in the country.

Flora & Fauna Art Prints by Jacob van Loon

Many thanks to Mitch from OMG Posters for giving me a heads up about these absolutely amazing “Flora” and “Fauna” art prints by Jacob van Loon. I completely agree with Mitch when he says that Jacob’s abstract linework is pretty mindblowing; I see something new peering out at me from the undulating, organic folds and waves in each print every time I look!

Weekly Wrap #77 : Calligraphy Gift Tags

These calligraphy gift tags by K is for Calligraphy would be a beautiful finishing touch on gifts for all sorts of occasions. Each tag is individually hand-lettered with black, water resistant sumi ink, and tags are available in sets of seven in your choice of manila or gray.

The calligraphed greetings include for you, cheers, enjoy, happy birthday, hooray, i love you, and to/from (double-sided tag).
