Hand Cut Papercut Art

I recently popped into one of my favorite papercut art shops, Papercuts by Joe, and my jaw just about hit the floor when I spotted this collection of absolutely amazing papercuts spotlighting the landscapes and seascapes of New England. Each of the pieces cut by hand from a single sheet of black paper using an Xacto knife, which blows my mind to even contemplate!

Moxie House Paper Goods Spring 2013

The official start of Spring is this Wednesday (yay!) and, while I wouldn’t put it past Mother Nature to drop another snowstorm on us here in Boston before we’re out of the woods, I’m enjoying the idea of warmer weather and green grass and blooming flowers popping up all over the landscape.

But until Mother Nature and Punxsutawney Phil and whoever else is involved in the weather conspiracy decide to bring permanently warmer weather this way, I’m very thankful to have paper goodies like Moxie House Paper Goods’ fresh, new Spring Collection to fuel my Spring Fever. The collection features “In the Garden”, a collaboration with textile artist, Betsy Olmsted, which features brightly colored (and super cute!) critters, as well as very pretty letterpress greetings for baby, mom, and more.
