Spotted on Poppytalk — Etsy is teaming up with Citymeals -on-Wheels this Valentine’s Day for their Special Delivery project, which will bring nutritious meals, companionship, and handmade greeting cards to homebound elderly New Yorkers. What a wonderful idea!

Citymeals-on-Wheels serves over 18,000 people, and they need your help to supply the cards. You can either make your own card(s), or you can send one from your Etsy shop (if you’re an Etsy seller). You can also purchase cards to send (hint, hint…any of the cards featured in my recent Valentine’s Day posts would be perfect).

The deadline for Etsy to receive your cards is February 2, 2009. For many more details, please see Etsy’s official announcement.
