Kenzie Kate 2008

Kenzie Kate recently introduced four new wedding invitation designs, each with its own unique feel, and all incredibly beautiful:

Kenzie Kate New Orleans Wedding Invitation

New Orleans : Gorgeous! I absolutely love this color scheme, with the deep teal and green. 10% of the proceeds from the sale of this invitation go to the Green Project, a non-profit organization with a mission to promote and encourage environment sustainability in New Orleans.

Kenzie Kate Oslo Wedding Invitation

Oslo : Such a sweet design. Again, I love the color scheme, light blue and orange.

Kenzie Kate Casablanca Wedding Invitation

Casablanca : Elegant, exotic, “spicy”…definitely evocative of its namesake. The rich color scheme is perfect.

Kenzie Kate Palm Springs Wedding Invitation

Palm Springs : Oh so swank and upscale, with fantastic modern patterns. Love the yellow and gray!

These Glistening Oak Leaf Letterpress Invitations from Hana Hou Productions are absolutely gorgeous! I love the oak leaf beads — not a detail is missed.

I’m continually amazed by what invitation designers are creating. Many independent designers, Hana Hou Productions included, have elevated invitation design to fine art form. Hmm…this gives me ideas, dangerous (and expensive) ideas.

Amy Smyth Made It

Amy Smyth Made It Birthday

I was recently introduced to Amy Smyth Made It, a wonderfully funky stationery line by illustrator turned paper pusher Amy Smyth. As I pored over the site, I found it very difficult to choose just a few favorites to feature, so be prepared for the images to come (I’m sure you don’t mind, right?).

I really dig the illustration style, which has such a spirited attitude, and the colors that Amy Smyth uses – lots of subdued, sophisticated naturals used in a bold way.

Amy Smyth Made It offers a little bit of everything, from baby and bridal invitations to gift tags, moving announcements, holiday, and notecards. I’d advise you to do as Amy Smyth suggests and “write a freakin’ note,” if only so you’ll have an excuse to buy her paper goods.

Wedding Paper Month Comes to an End

Focus on Wedding Paper, 2007 Edition

I hope that everyone enjoyed a March filled with wedding paper features at Paper Crave. The number of individuals and businesses creating absolutely beautiful and unique wedding items is amazing, and I can’t believe that March is already over because, though I spent an entire month featuring wedding items, I feel like I’ve just scratched the surface. Let’s just say that I’ll definitely be featuring plenty of wedding items in the future.

I hope that you were as inspired as I was!

Love these whimsical bride and groom favor boxes / place card holders by Kate Aspen. The amount of detail on both boxes is fantastic.

I really enjoy the interesting shape of this pedestal box. American Bridal offers several different favor box kits — the pedestal box kit comes in a set of 20 and includes boxes in your choice of color, ribbon, and personalized monogrammed labels.

These gift bags are just adorable with their tiny bridal attire. Wouldn’t they be perfect for a bridal shower?
