Constellation & Co. Letterpress Cards + Invitations

Letterpress Library Card Constellation & Co.

I’m loving what I’m seeing from Sara & Brad McNally, aka Constellation & Co., the Seattle based letterpress and design duo who recently launched their line of Sweet and Snarky letterpress mini cards, clever greetings like the Want to See My Library Card above (love it!), and letterpress posters and prints. Constellation & Co.’s portfolio is also filled with lovely custom letterpress invitations and announcements, a few of which you can get a peek at below. Head over to Constellation & Co. to check out their portfolio, and have a look at their full line of ready to order paper goodies at the Constellation & Co. Etsy shop.

Dizzy Wizzy Design Wedding Invitations

Dizzy Wizzy Wedding Invitations

Dizzy Wizzy Design, a Perth, Western Australia based paper goods shop, recently launched a line of digitally printed, ready-to-go wedding invitations that is an absolute feast for the eyes. I’m completely taken with all of the chic, modern designs in the collection, which includes a range of ready-to-go wedding invites that can be customized with coordinating event colors and extra little details like rounded corners. Each invitation is available on its own or with coordination RSVP cards and gift registry cards, and invitations include matching envelopes and a sticker seal or address label.

Here are more lovelies from the collection, which can be viewed in its entirety in the Dizzy Wizzy Design shop.

From the Shop Friday : Destination Wedding Invites

The collaboration between Hello! Lucky and Lab Partners has produced some fantastic destination wedding invitations ( and some pretty cool greeting cards, too). Wedding locales lucky enough to be included in the collection are  New York, San Francisco, London, Hawaii, and four recently added destinations: Chicago, Paris, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. The new designs have the same awesome retro modern flavor as the previous designs in the collection, and each suite features really cool illustrations representing the suite’s corresponding city … in Lab Partners’ trademark style, of course!

Smock Design Contest Winners

I’m honored to have been asked to be the guest judge for the most recent Smock Paper Design Contest. The contest is a semi-annual celebration of Smock’s favorite retailer customizations, and this time around I had the chance to choose my favorites, too. Let me tell you, it was very difficult to pick my top three because there were so many lovely letterpress creations, and I’m so excited to be able to share the winners with you! And now, without further ado…

First Place : Salutations in Charlotte, NC

Letterpress Wedding Invitations

This invitation suite is simply gorgeous —delicate, romantic, and oh so elegant. I absolutely love the palette, which is subdued and very nicely balanced, making this a design that would appeal to both men and women. And the patterned pocket fold presentation really makes this suite special. I would feel like I had just received a lovely gift if I received an invitation to this wedding.

1st Runner Up : Luxe Expressions in Atlanta, GA

Letterpress 40th Birthday Party Invitations

This letterpress invitation is so vibrant and fun, perfect for an ’80s themed celebration. The design is versatile and could be used for so many different types of occasions, but I love it as a 40th birthday party invite. The message it sends is, “I’m turning 40, I am completely fabulous, and you are going to have an absolute blast at my party!”

2nd Runner Up : Judy Paulen Designs at Bloomingdale’s in Manhattan

Elegant Letterpress Wedding Invitations

This suite oozes class without being staid, and the fantastic color choices and patterns give it a very modern feel. I love the playfulness of the language on the reply postcard and rehearsal card, too. And the incredible, colorful patterned envelope liner is a detail that just had to put this invitation in my top three.

You can see more images of the winners and get more details and information about the individual suites over at Smock’s blog. Thank you, Smock, for the opportunity, and congratulations to the winners!

Erin + Jeremy’s Vintage Ephemera Wedding Invitations

If you love vintage ephemera, then this custom wedding invitation suite, a collaboration between Hello! Lucky and the couple, Erin and Jeremy, will be an absolute treat for your eyes. The delightful collection is a veritable smorgasbord of gorgeous, vintage inspired pieces that are styled to look like vintage tickets and bus passes, fair posters, and postcards. You can check out more photos from the wedding over at the Hello! Lucky blog.

Vintage Ephemera Wedding Invitations

The wedding invitation itself was styled to look like a torn page from a book. The deckled edge, typography, and little bunny silhouette illustration are perfection.

Vintage Ephemera Wedding Invitations

So much playfulness in this suite, including replies that were Mad Libs fashioned to look like vintage Western Union telegram and programs that were made to look like a vintage book.
