Lovely personalized note cards and greeting card designs from Turtle Papers. I’m really digging the combinations of sophisticated flourishes, old world emblems, and stylized florals and wildlife. The colors are so bright and fun, too, and remind me of warm weather (which I hope will be here soon).

I’m digging these sweet writing sets from Mew Paper Arts. The illustrations of flowers, umbrellas, and little girls in adorable dresses remind me of spring. Also, I’m a complete sucker for matching stickers! Have a set on hand for keeping up with your correspondence, or gift a set to a friend.

I first discovered Rochester based Pistachio Press through their collaboration with INK + WIT on an awesome 2008 letterpress calendar. There’s plenty of eye candy to be found in their line, which includes letterpress stationery and wedding invitations (drool…see above). In addition, Pistachio Press offers custom design and printing.
Check out their portfolio, or shop online at Pistachio’s Etsy shop.

Looking for the perfect holiday gift for your journal writing friends? Well, look no further than Elum’s gorgeous fabric covered offerings. I love the custom designs that grace the covers. $21.99 each.
Elum also has lovely desk sets — a complete collection of beautifully designed letterpress note cards and envelopes in a sophisticated storage box. Each set contains over 300 pieces and contains everything one will need (minus stamps and a pen) to keep up with correspondence. $150.00 per set.
Psst…you’ll want to check out their letterpress holiday cards while you’re there; however, many designs seem to already be sold out, so grab them up while you can!

I’m really digging these letterpressed cards from Satsuma Press, an independent letterpress studio based in Portland, Oregon. What I really love about their designs is the way in which they use textures to create contrast. You’ll find large floods of bold, letterpressed color mingled with detailed botanical outlines, which create both visually and texturally engaging designs.
Featured above (clockwise, from top left): hydrangea, orange gingko, japanese chrysanthemum, and flowering rush cards. $15.00 for a set of 5 in a single design at Satsuma Press’ Etsy shop.

Design*Sponge has posted the first in her series of reports on the 2007 National Stationery Show, and I’m agiggle at the wonderful offerings on display. Check out the debut of the Nantaka Joy line…absolutely stunning use of metallics and blind embossing. I’m also loving the woodgrain coasters from Rock Scissor Paper, the button series (excerpt pictured above) and wood veneer cards from Night Owl Paper Goods — absolutely inspiring!
The next installment of what I’m sure will be fabulous creations will be posted on Thursday at Design*Sponge, so be on the lookout. I know, like you’re not already, right?

I’m a sad paper lover because I won’t be attending the National Stationery Show, but if you happen to be in New York City this weekend and early next week (May 20-23), the show is a must see. So many of our favorites are exhibiting, and new lines, such as Oh Joy!’s Nantaka Joy (Relish booth #3472), will be debuting. Can’t wait to see what everyone has to say when they return!
