Bespoke Press loves chairs, and I love Bespoke’s new limited edition Vintage Chair letterpress prints, which feature chairs as far as the eye can see: old chairs, comfy chairs, fancy chairs, rocking chairs, and the list goes on!

Each print features a study of 16 antique chair illustrations and is available in two colorways: charcoal, dark olive green, and magenta; or charcoal, dark olive green, and canary yellow. The limited edition signed prints are each available in a numbered run of 100. To celebrate their launch, Bespoke Press is offering free shipping Australia wide and reduced international shipping for just AU $6 (US $4.35).

The Cloudy Collection

Illustrator and designer David Huyck has combined his long time desire to make letterpress prints with inspiration from the many contemporary illustrators, cartoonists, designers, and artists whose work he has admired over the years to create The Cloudy Collection, an ongoing collaboration with artists whose work he loves.

The premiere edition of the collection, titled “Cloudy Characters”, features limited edition letterpress prints with art by David himself, as well as Meg Hunt, Bill Flick, John Martz, Amy Crehore, Tom Kaczynski, and Steven Weissman. All seven prints are available for only $35, and a portion of the proceeds will go to The Nature Conservancy. David Paul Seymour, whose work I originally talked about back in February, has launched a brand new website, along with plenty of new greeting cards and art prints featuring his trademark fun and funky illustrations. I’ve become a shameless owlophile over the past couple of years, so it was love at first sight when I saw all of the owlish prints in Stephanie Fizer’s Etsy shop. Stephanie specializes in illustrations that feature a number of cutie patootie characters and woodland creatures, so if you’re not a fan of owls (sacrilege!) you’ll certainly find something to love in her shop. She reproduces her original works as mounted prints, bookplates, and many more items to decorate your life. And, if you like printables, Stephanie also has a shop called Digital Sweets.

I can’t get over how intricate the embellishments are on these paper cut numbers and letters by Etsy seller papercutdiecut. The most amazing part is that these are all cut by hand! Imagine the patience and steady hand that it must take to create these little works of art.
