Quilled Paper Keys

Ann Martin Quilled Paper Keys

I was taking my daily (virtual) stroll around the internet yesterday and spotted these lovely antique keys over at CRAFT. I’ve recently become very interested in antique key designs and … wait, what’s that? These keys are made of paper?!

Yes, this ring of beautiful keys is a replica of antique keys and is made of quilled paper by paper artist, Ann Martin. When I first saw them, it took me a little while to see that they weren’t actually real keys because they’re amazingly realistic. Check out a larger image of the keys, as well as much paper inspiration over at Ann’s blog, All Things Paper.

Lab Partners Business Cards

I recently posted about the wonderful new Monsieur Boudin greeting card collection from Lab Partners, but I would be remiss if I didn’t show you their awesome new business cards, too. These were made during an intro to letterpress class that Sarah and Ryan took from Jordan Ferney of Oh Happy Day! These are some of the coolest business cards that I think I’ve ever seen. What do you think?

Athena Dreams Greeting Cards

Liz Kalloch, a San Francisco based artist and designer, recently launched a line of greeting cards at her Etsy shop, Athena Dreams. The combination of Liz’s bold and colorful graphics, featuring layers of texture coupled with symbols and icons around the world, along with messages like, “those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves,” and, “optimism is the the faith that leads to achievement,” are so uplifting. See Athena Dreams’ full line of greeting cards, as well as Liz’s mixed media art prints, right over here.

New Sponsor : Art Photography by Tim Irving

Tim Irving Photography

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend, and if you were celebrating here in the US, then I hope that you had a fun, fireworks-filled Fourth!

I’d like to welcome Paper Crave’s newest sponsor, Art Photography by Tim Irving, whose atmospheric photos from all over the world are absolutely enchanting. Tim has been taking photos since he was 9 years old, and he uses old cameras and a variety of old lenses, some that he’s made himself, to give his images a handmade feel. He’s also an obsessive traveller, and his photography is inspired by new sights and experiences from across the globe.

Tim’s work has been seen in Time Magazine, The Times (London), the National Portrait Gallery (UK), and more, and you can purchase his photos at his Etsy shop. He also writes an inspirational blog called Stylemed, which is all about Mediterranean style and design.
