Petit Collage

Petit Collage

Over the past week or so, I’ve spotted the work of Petit Collage in several Renegade Craft Fair roundups, and I’m completely taken with their collages, prints, posters, and pretty much everything else that they’ve created. Their work is perfect for baby and children’s rooms and adds a wonderful touch of whimsy anywhere. I’d love to have one of their awesome bamboo mobiles (Jungle Friends Mobile shown above) in my office!

Nan Lawson Hand Painted Cards

Nan Lawson Cards
Nan Lawson Cards

I was completely taken with these darling little cupcake and moustache cards as soon as I saw them. Each card is hand drawn and painted by artist Nan Lawson, so you’ll be receiving unique mini works of art when you purchase a set. I could see these framed and hung in a grouping on a wall, as well as being used as cards or sweet little gift tags. See more of Nan’s work, including pen and ink drawings, paintings and prints, over here. – via 2Modern

Louella Press Etsy

I’m so happy to see that the lovely Louella Press, whose engraved wedding invitation work I just adore, has recently opened an Etsy shop, filled with gorgeous ready to order letterpress greeting cards and prints. Here’s just a sampling of what you can find in their new shop, and you can see much wedding invitation eye candy (and more) over at their website:

Eco Friendly Paper : Luckyou Recycled Paper Accessories

Luckyou Paper Jewelry

The versatility of paper as a medium never ceases to amaze me, as does the creativity and originality of those working with paper as a medium. Spotted on swissmiss — paper jewelry and bowls made completely from recycled paper, fashion magazines to be more specific, from Swiss designer Stefanie Luginbühl of Luckyou. The necklaces are produced by mostly women in the townships of Capetown, South Africa, so the more necklaces that are sold, the more people who can get a job and income from their families. I love to hear these kinds of stories!

Have you seen last week’s Design*Sponge guest blog? Julie and Kathryn from the beautiful and inspirational blog, perfectbound, were the featured bloggers, and they gave all of us paper lovers a feast for the eyes, showcasing everything from paper cut art and cards to wallpaper made from magazine tear sheets to paper furniture and the textiles shown above, made from … wait for it … spun paper yarn. Amazing!
