Sweet Harvey Letterpress

I’m so excited to welcome Sweet Harvey Letterpress as the newest advertiser on Paper Crave. I’ve been a fan of Sweet Harvey’s letterpress lovelies for some time, and I always look forward to what Brandi Powell, the owner and creative behind Sweet Harvey, will design next. Adorable baby shower invitations and birth announcements, wedding invites, art prints, business and calling cards, bookplates, greeting cards, moving announcements —you can find a little bit of everything, all of it lovely, at the Sweet Harvey shop.

Cut Paper Art by Lorraine Nam

Lorraine Nam Paper Cut Art

I’m amazed by the gorgeous cut paper artwork of paper artist and illustrator, Lorraine Nam. Lorraine, a recent graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, has been cutting paper and making books since 2006, but she’s always had a penchant for playing with paper. Here is more Lorraine’s wonderfully intricate cut paper work, and you can see more and check out her illustration work at lorrainenam.com.

House Industries Typography Posters

House Industries Metallic Typography Posters

These fantastic new typographic prints from House Industries shot to the top of my paper wishlist as soon as I spotted them last week over at Design*Sponge. The combination of kick butt letterforms and metallic ink (mmm … copperlicious)  is simply too much for me to resist. Posters are hand-printed on acid-free French paper, and some designs have been hand-pulled onto 5/8″ furniture grade plywood that’s been pre-drilled for wall mounting. I’m also intrigued by House Industries’ forthcoming Photo-Lettering site, which sounds like a very cool concept.

More fabulous metallic eye candy from the new print collection:

Paper People by Colt Bowden

Paper People by Colt Bowden

I am completely and utterly enchanted by Colt Bowden‘s handmade paper people. They’re so wonderfully whimsical, and the sewn paper details are amazing. I love how each paper person has his or her own unique personality. The paper people would make great framed art, and Colt says that he’s also used them for cake toppers and as couples’ gifts.

Because each paper person is unique, there is no set price for all of them, but they generally range in price from $15-30 each. You can contact Colt via email or phone for more info. He and his wife are also the team behind Voilà Letterpress —check out their Paper People letterpress print!
