You Are Ace

Hi, everyone! I’m starting to get back into the swing of things after my week off – responding to the stack of emails I received while I was on vacation, getting really excited about all of the new paper goodies that are coming out this holiday season, and hunting around for more craveable paper goodies, like this awesome “You Are Ace” letterpress print by Laura Seaby, available at Keep Calm Gallery.

The two color, limited edition print features a fantastic, playing card-like graphic that includes a spade, a diamond, a club, and a little red heart, and each print is signed and numbered by Laura. – via deeply impressed

Aaron Eiland

Aaron Eiland Sia Poster

I’m totally digging these gig posters by Aaron Eiland, especially the Sia poster above. So very cute, and great texture elements. Aaron’s work has a great, mid-century kind of vibe, lots of clean shapes, with textures added here and there for dimension. Love it! Check out a few more of my favorites from his portfolio below, and head over to his site to see much more of Aaron’s work. – via French Paper

Kathleen Lolley

Kathleen Lolley Art Prints

Kathleen Lolley’s work is richly colored, slightly sinister, wonderfully surreal, and features many owls, so naturally I’m completely entranced by it. Storytelling and nature are prominent themes in Kathleen’s art, which reminds me a little bit of Hieronymus Bosch, one of my absolute favorite artists. Check out Kathleen’s paintings and other art pieces over on her site, and head over to her Etsy shop, Lolley, to see all of her wonderful art prints.

Tad Carpenter “My Home” Prints

What I Love About My Home Print

I remember seeing the sneak peek of Tad Carpenter and his wife, Jessica’s, home earlier this year on Design*Sponge, and I loved the wonderful quote about home that Tad included in the feature. What I didn’t realize is that Tad had so many requests from people interested in purchasing the handwritten version of the quote that he actually designed a small, letterpress version in white and brown. And he also recently released these larger, typographic versions of the print, this time a one color screen print, available in four colors. These would make fantastic anniversary or wedding gifts … housewarming gifts, too.

All I Really Want…

Last week, it was ice cream, and today it’s this delicious Cake print by UK-based illustrator, Jessie Ford. I think that I need to stop writing posts when I’m hungry. Oh, who am I kidding? I’m always hungry for cake and ice cream!
