How to Make Gift Bags from Envelopes

Envelope Gift Bags

How About Orange has a great tutorial that shows you how to make cute little gift bags (aka Baglets) from regular envelopes. What a useful and fun idea for all different types of occasions! Fill them with Easter treats, and these would make wonderful little gifts for the upcoming holiday. And, if you’d like, you can also download labels to print onto the envelopes.

Lucia Soaps Packaging

Lucia Soaps

Lucia soaps were all over the design blogs last week, but I had to give them a mention here because I love the combination of the ultra modern labeling with the gorgeous patterned papers. One astute commenter over at design*sponge noted that the papers used in the packaging could be found at Paper Mojo and, indeed, many of the beautiful papers are from Wooster & Prince and Snow & Graham. What a smart idea for packaging! – spotted on design*sponge and The Dieline

So many paper cravings building up that I have to give some linky love:

* Limited edition owl, wren, and partridge gocco prints from UK based printmaker Dee Beale – via Bloesem

* How to move a press, Egyptian style, by Paper Stories at The Handmade Artist

* Lovely and inexpensive gift wrapping ideas (love the paint swatch idea!) from d.sharp at Apartment Therapy – found via marshmallow fever

* Clever packing tape transfers from Molly Likes to Draw – via Craft

* Printable mini file folders from Whisker Graphics – via How About Orange

* Beautiful handmade journals and kits by Erin Zamrzlavia Rag & Bone

Have a great weekend, everyone!
