The Brass Rule Labyrinth

Okay, this is awesome. Jens Jørgen Hansen, a Danish letterpress printer and printing teacher with shop called bogtrykkeren (“bogtrykker” means “printer” in Danish), designed The Brass Rule Labryinth letterpress print by meticulously hand setting brass rule to create a typographical labyrinth that’s completely unique. I can’t even imagine how much time and patience it took to set everything. A true labor of love, and pretty darn cool print, too.

Letterpress Pull-Out Greeting Cards

Igloo Letterpress Pull Out Cards

I’m a big fan of cards that do a little something different, and I’m digging these letterpress pull-out greeting cards by Igloo Letterpress for just this reason. Well, they’re super cute, too, but I really like the pull-out design, with fun letterpress printed pattern sleeves and card enclosures that slide out to reveal the card’s message. How fun!

Letterpress Tattoo Posters

Tattoo Letterpress Posters

Check out these absolutely amazing letterpress posters and postcards, printed by The Mandate Press with illustration by Dan Christofferson. The posters were created for an event for the Salt Lake City chapter of the AIGA, “Full Bleed, The Design and Tattoo Experience”, which showcased the artwork and design of local tattoo artists. The posters and postcards feature awesome illustrations that cleverly combine traditional tattoo imagery with design jargon, and I so wish that these were for sale because I’d buy one in a heartbeat!

Update: Thanks to Jim from AIGA Salt Lake City for giving a heads up that the posters are now for sale over at the Felt & Wire shop. Yay!
