I am totally digging these patterned letterpress thank you cards by Parallel Print Shop. The “Mod Mix” set includes three different mid-century mod designs – Peaks, Clouds, and Waves – printed with leaf green, fall orange, pool blue, and cool gray inks. The small scale patterns within each pattern are great – love the texture that they add to the designs. Cards are printed on 130 lb. 80% post consumer waste (PCW) paper with 100% PCW envelopes.

Lettersketch Sketchbooks

Hello, gorgeous sketchbooks! If you like to doodle and draw, and you love a great blind impression (like I do) then you absolutely must check out these pretty, pretty sketchbooks by Lettersketch. Each individual sketchbook features a different, organic patterned design deeply pressed into cotton cover stock, and you can sketch to your heart’s content on the 24 sheets of graphite-loving vellum stock inside each book. There are so many great thank you cards popping up in shops all over the interwebs lately, and since I know that I’m always in need of new thank yous for my stationery stash, I thought that you might be, too. Silent Film-Inspired Cards

There’s something about a silent film that’s so very stylish, particularly the dialogue frames, which stand on their own as graphic elements within the film. The letterpress aces at Starshaped Press are silent film buffs, and their latest collection of letterpress cards, “Silents Are Golden”, pays homage to the beloved genre.

Starshaped tracked down the antique metal typefaces used for film intertitles and created subtly ornate-framed sentiments that look like they just stepped out of a Lillian Gish film. The antique type and ornaments are printed on steel gray paper with silver ink (a nod to the silver screen?), and a light, varnish-like tint makes each frame pop.
