It’s always a happy paper day when something new from Satsuma Press pops up in my inbox, and I’m completely enamored with their beautiful new spring line, which includes four lovely, modern letterpress card designs – Hello Friend, Paint, Bella, and Floral Field – in a palette of palest pink, ochre, mist, and dark charcoal. My goodness, do I ever love these colors (and these beautiful cards, too)!

Happy Easter Cards, Part 1

I would’ve guessed that the next holiday was the 4th of July if you asked me last week (talk about unseasonably warm weather!) but, actually, it’s that time of the year when chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, and egg-shaped candy rule. The Easter Bunny will be hopping down the bunny trail soon, and I have a roundup of bright and sweet Easter cards that you can tuck into baskets, hide with all of those colorful eggs, or send to family and friends.

Floret Letterpress Cards

I am completely enamored with these sweet and lovely letterpress cards by Floret Letterpress. The designs are the perfect blend of subdued color, hand drawn lettering and illustration, and understated charm. The collection features designs that range from celestial-themed greetings to botanical patterned blank cards, all of which are so very pretty.

New Letterpress Prints by Tag Team Tompkins

It’s a happy day, indeed, because one of my favorite creative duos, Tag Team Tompkins, has six brand new letterpress prints! Their unique blend of papercutting, hand-lettering/calligraphy, and letterpress makes me a happy little paper fanatic, and the quotes that they incorporate into their work – these from Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Emily Dickinson, William Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Eduardo Galeano, and a Spanish proverb – are so rich and uplifting.

The new collection includes four 5×7 and two 8×10 prints, letterpressed onto luxe Crane Lettra stock by Bob Atkins of Skylab Letterpress.
