Cute, Illustrated Valentine’s Day Cards

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a big fan of the holiday itself, but Valentine’s Day cards and projects are some of my favorites. It’s such a fun holiday to design for, and I love seeing all of the punny sentiments and sweet illustrations that designers come up with. Plus, so many love-themed designs work year ’round, not just for Valentine’s Day, and that includes several of the cute, illustrated designs in this Valentine’s Day card roundup. So, you’ll be able to spread the love all year long, which is really how it should be, don’t you think?

Hello, fellow paper lovers! I hope that 2016 is off to a good start for you, though I know that the first Monday after New Year’s Day can be a rough one. I’m dusting off the cobwebs after a bit of time off, and a few of you probably are, too, so I thought I’d start the year off on a fun (and super cute) note with these darling paper goods from Darling Clementine’s Pantomime collection. I have to say, the adorable Badger Bear Poster above does make me smile, even on a cold Monday morning after a long holiday break.

Here’s more paper cuteness from the Pantomime collection, which includes posters, z-fold and side fold greeting cards, and fun and festive party invites:

Happy New Year Cards

More and more people have started sending Happy New Year cards over the past several years, and more people sending cards for ANY occasion is a great thing in my book. Let’s face it. Sometimes, in the holiday season chaos, we simply run out of time to send Christmas cards. It happens. Heck, it’s happened to me on a couple of occasions.

New Year cards are a fantastic alternative if you just aren’t able to squeeze Christmas cards into a tight schedule. You have more wiggle room with the timeline and can send them after the more intense part of the holiday season is over without worrying about your cards being late. Or, maybe you don’t celebrate Christmas but still want to send greetings to friends and family at this time of the year. In this case, New Year cards are the perfect choice.

Thankfully for us, more and more stationers have started adding New Year cards to their lineup, so we have many more beautiful designs to choose from than we did even a few years ago. Today, I’ve put together a little roundup of some of my favorites, and I hope that you’ll spot some designs that strike your fancy in this festive bunch!
