Yee Haw Industries Cakewalk Notecards

Yee Haw Industries Cakewalk Notecards

I’m a huge fan of dynamic flourishes and decorative ornaments in design, and I just love what Yee Haw has done with the vintage scrolls and swirls in their Cakewalk series. The A10 cards would be perfect for anything from chic party invitations to thank you notes to wall art. The letterpress cards are printed with chocolate brown ink and highlighted with either pink, chartreuse, or light blue inks. Love those color combos. $16.00 for a box of 8 assorted designs at Yee Haw Industries.

The Cakewalk series also includes mini cards, note cards, and even die cut fans!

Satsuma Letterpress Cards

Satsuma Letterpress Cards

I’m really digging these letterpressed cards from Satsuma Press, an independent letterpress studio based in Portland, Oregon. What I really love about their designs is the way in which they use textures to create contrast. You’ll find large floods of bold, letterpressed color mingled with detailed botanical outlines, which create both visually and texturally engaging designs.

Featured above (clockwise, from top left): hydrangea, orange gingko, japanese chrysanthemum, and flowering rush cards. $15.00 for a set of 5 in a single design at Satsuma Press’ Etsy shop.

Bunni Goods Storybook Notecards … And A Disturbing Discovery

Bunni Goods Storybook Notecards

If you’re a sucker for vintage illustrations, bunni goods definitely has something for you. Their storybook notecards are fashioned from images featured in gently used children’s books and feature everything from bunnies and bears to snowmen running from something…perhaps a blowtorch? Kitschy-licious!

As I was browsing the bunni goods site, I couldn’t help but notice something a little unsettling about their Curious Dream card…

Bunni Goods Storybook Notecards

That’s totally Fergie! And, yes, I’m completely ashamed that I noticed this.

Fergie

Fergilicious?
