Letterpress Bookplates from Let’s Be Friends

The peeps at Let’s Be Friends are proposing that we bring back the practice of writing our names in our books like we did when we were kids, and they’re offering this fun, modern set of letterpress bookplates in their shop to get us started! The two-color bookplates are available in sets of a single design or as a variety pack, and I think that they’d make fantastic gifts for bookish friends, too.

Weekly Wrap #46 : Bookplate Gift Wrap

This bookplate gift wrap from Present & Correct is brilliant and, though this gift wrap can be used on any type of gift, wouldn’t it be just perfect to use it to wrap a book that you’re giving as a gift?

The Bookplate Gift Wrap Set is Present & Correct’s first foray into gift wrap, and each set includes one sheet each of four different designs. The wrapping sheet designs were inspired by mid-century book covers, and I’m loving the geometric patterns and bold teal and purple color scheme.

I’ve been a fan of Sweet Harvey’s letterpress lovelies for some time, and I always look forward to what Brandi Powell, the owner and creative behind Sweet Harvey, will design next. Isabell’s Umbrella

The Isabell’s Umbrella shop is packed full of so many irresistibly adorable paper goods that it was very tough for me to choose just a few to feature. In her illustrations, Ashely Giessing, the artist behind Isabell’s Umbrella, has created a world of wonderfully cute owlies, bears, turtles, squirrels, and deer for bookmarks (one of my favorites from the shop — shown above), postcards, prints, bookplates, and many other paper pretties.
