Apologies for the lack of posting this week. I’m in the process of closing Beccalights, my online candle shop, and am working hard to keep on top of the orders that I’ve received since announcing that I’m closing up shop. As a result, posting on Paper Crave will be sporadic over the next couple of weeks, but I’ll be back to posting regularly soon!

This one is for paper addicts in the Seattle area. The Accordian-a-thon benefits the Seattle Center for Book Arts and sounds like a lot of fun. Details below:

Join Seattle Center for Book Arts Saturday, March 1, 2008 from 7-10pm for our second annual Accordion-A-Thon. This event is a chance to gather with the book arts community in the Northwest and celebrate! We’ll have food and drink, door prizes and music to set the mood as guests participate in a group book project. A silent auction of artwork, limited edition books and items from local businesses will benefit SCBA’s community outreach activities and student scholarships.

Tickets: $15/each or 2 for $25. Purchase tickets at: www.seattlebookarts.org

Location: Pratt Fine Arts Center, Print Studio, 1902 South Main St.

Since I know that many of you view the blog through feed readers, I just wanted to post about the launch of the new site design. Nothing too drastic, but the layout has been updated, and I’ve also added advertising options for those interested.

The thing about hiatuses is that they always seem to last longer than originally planned, don’t they? Well, I couldn’t stay away any longer because I’ve seen too many awesome paper cravings in the making, and I have to talk about them!
