As an ardent admirer of rubber stamps, I’m always on the lookout for new and new-to-me companies that offer fresh, modern designs in classic, wood mounted form. So, naturally, I was totally jazzed when I found out about the recent launch of Felicette. Named after the famous French space cat – and that, by itself, is pretty darn awesome – Felicette specializes in quirky, hand drawn stamps that range from personalized taco and volcano-themed address stamps to simple and versatile designs such as anchors, stars, clouds, and silhouettes.
Lauren Quinn Ward, owner and head stamp maker, creates all of Felicette’s stamps in house from start to finish, including the wood mounts, which are cut and routed by Lauren from American Hard Maple that is sourced with the help of a local lumber yard. I am thoroughly impressed by Lauren’s do-it-yourself spirit and dedication and am absolutely enamored with Felicette’s fun and unique stamp designs. Check out some of my favorites below, and be sure to head on over to the Felicette shop to see the full collection!
