I initially intend on spending a few minutes checking out new and interesting fonts, and I end up looking around for hours with a list of 100 new fonts added to my wishlist. So, it’s no surprise that this is exactly what happened when I visited Veer’s Type section the other day.

I’m a complete fangirl when it comes to script, calligraphy, and handwriting fonts, and Veer’s Umbrella Type collection has me in full on drool mode. The Umbrella collection is a group of typefaces hand picked by Veer to give larger exposure to fonts created by small foundries and independent designers. I couldn’t just choose two or three to feature, so here’s a whole bunch that would be perfect for wedding and other invitations, graphic design projects, and general font collecting:
