I’m just about ready to sign off for the Thanksgiving holiday, but before I do I want to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. May your day be filled with much fun and tasty food, and if you’re one of the millions who will be traveling over the holiday weekend, safe travels to you.

A new Weekly Wrap will be posted on Friday, and I’ll be back next week to wrap up my holiday calendar features and to share many more holiday cards and some gift ideas, too. Have a wonderful holiday, a great weekend, and I’ll see you back here on Monday!

P.S. If you’re looking for some last minute decorations to add a little pizzazz to your Thanksgiving table, check out these printable place cards from The Paper Nut. The printable PDF (four designs in two color combinations) is just $1.00 and can be downloaded immediately after purchase, so no worries that it’s last minute.

Paper Source has some really cute paper place card kits for autumn and Halloween, and I just had to give them a little shout out this week. The monster place cards (top below) would be such a fun choice for a kids’ Halloween party, as would the owl place cards (middle below). And the gourd place cards (bottom below) would be great for all sorts of autumn occasions, including Halloween, Thanksgiving, and fall dinner parties. Each kit contains supplies to make a dozen place cards.

Letterpress Food Snob Place Cards

Letterpress Food Snob Place Cards

These letterpress Food Snob Place Cards from Greenwich Letterpress totally made me laugh out loud. Do you know offhand what a cardoon is? How about a Chioggia beet? If so, then you might be a vegetable or root-crop snob, respectively. I love that the place cards categorize food snobs, and I think that the collection would be a fantastic ice breaker or conversation starter at a dinner party. Just be sure that your food snob friends are able to poke fun at themselves, or else things could get ugly!
